Stay in Motion with Scooter Oil
With a special bearing oil, you can maintain your stunt or city scooter. Lubricate the bearings in the headset and your wheels to keep them smooth.
To properly apply scooter oil, remove external dirt with a cloth and then apply one to two drops to the bearings. Move the parts to evenly distribute the oil. Note that there are two bearings in your wheel, so you need to oil each side separately. Similarly, there is an upper and lower bearing in the headset, both of which should be lubricated.
How often you should use the oil depends on how frequently you use your scooter and whether your bearings have become wet or dusty. In general, the bearings should be oiled every few weeks, or if you notice they are not spinning as smoothly as usual. If you have ridden in the rain, we recommend re-oiling all bearings after they have dried.
You can use bearing oil not only for your scooter but also anywhere else bearings are used, such as on a skateboard or BMX.

No, to maintain the bearings you need special bearing oil, which you can find in our online shop. Each oil has its own properties, so you should use it only for its intended purpose. Do not use oils that you would cook with – they belong on salads, not on your scooter.
