Nur eine gute stabile Clamp hält deinen Lenker fest am Stunt Scooter und verhindert wackeln und verdrehen. Es gibt Standard Size und Oversized Klemmen, schau ob die Clamp zu deiner Bar passt.
A good clamp (handlebar clamp) is an essential component of the scooter, as it ensures stability and safety while riding. It prevents the handlebar from twisting to the fork or front wheel and also keeps your bar stable in position.
Clamps are typically made of aluminum. We only use brands with high-quality aluminum clamps that have a very long lifespan with careful handling.
The choice of the right clamp depends on your scooter setup and the compression system used. One thing you should definitely keep in mind is whether the diameter of the clamp fits the handlebar.
As the name suggests, standard clamps fit standard handlebars with an outer diameter of 31.8 mm. Oversized clamps, on the other hand, are designed for oversized handlebars with an outer diameter of 34.9 mm.
Aluminum handlebars always come in oversized, as do almost all titanium handlebars. Steel bars come in both standard and oversized.
Most clamps now come with clamp shims for standard-size handlebars and are thus compatible with all handlebar sizes.

There are different types of clamps, including:
The designation refers to the number of screws that tighten the clamp. Most modern clamps are double clamps, which are fastened with two screws. There are also higher triple clamps or quad clamps, but they are less common due to their higher weight and lack of additional benefits. Stability does not significantly increase with more than two screws. We do not recommend single clamps at all, as their stability is too low.
Do not confuse clamps with SCS compression clamps, which, in addition to functioning as a clamp, also handle compression. You can find these in the compression category.
Standard clamps are designed for standard handlebars with an outer diameter of 31.8 mm. Oversized clamps are designed for handlebars with an outer diameter of 34.9 mm. Make sure you select the right clamp for your handlebar diameter.
Yes, replacing the clamp is usually a simple process. You will need an appropriate hex key to loosen the screws and remove the old clamp. Then you can attach the new clamp and tighten the screws.
The screws should be tight enough to hold the handlebar securely but not so tight that they damage the material. Always tighten the screws alternately from bottom to top. This way, you prevent placing all the pressure on a single screw.
If your clamp has cracks, visible wear, or damaged threads, it should be replaced. Often, it is sufficient to just replace the clamp bolts.
