A helmet protects your head from serious injuries in falls or accidents. It can be life-saving and significantly reduce the risk of concussions and other head injuries. Our helmets provide reliable protection for your head, so you can fully concentrate on your riding experience. Whether riding in a skatepark or on the street, our helmets ensure you are safe and stylish.
For stunt scooter riding and skateboarding, hard shell helmets are used. They provide robust protection and are suitable even for aggressive stunts and tricks.
Unlike bicycle helmets, stunt scooter helmets use only hard shell helmets rather than soft shell helmets. These are far more durable as they are impact-resistant without being easily damaged. Additionally, they feature a deep neck protection (Low Fit) that protects the back of your head, which is especially useful for ramps. Bicycle helmets, on the other hand, are equipped with many more air vents and are less durable.
Only a well-fitting helmet provides optimal protection. Measure your head circumference above your eyebrows and compare the measurements with the size chart of your preferred helmet manufacturer. Your helmet is correctly adjusted when it sits horizontally on your head and covers your forehead without tilting backward. It should fit snugly but not be too tight, as you will wear it for extended periods. Ensure it is not too loose and does not move when you shake your head.
Adjust the side straps symmetrically and check that they form a "V" below your ears. The chin strap should fit snugly under your chin. Remember to always fasten it to prevent the helmet from falling off in a crash. The straps should be tight but not uncomfortably so.
How often should I check and replace my helmet?
Regularly check your helmet for visible damage. If the helmet has been subjected to a strong impact, it should be replaced even if no external damage is visible. Helmets should generally be replaced every five years, as the material loses its protective ability over time.
Can I use the same helmet for different sports?
Our helmets are suitable for multiple sports, such as skating, scootering, BMX, and cycling. Make sure that the helmet meets the specific safety requirements for each sport.
