Micro scooters are perfect for short distances and can be easily taken on public transport. All Micro models except the Xtreme line are easily foldable, making them light and easy to transport and store. They are characterized by their high quality and durability. Since most parts are screwed together rather than welded, they can be easily replaced. If you are looking for spare parts for your Micro scooter, you will find them here. Only high-quality materials are used for the individual components, and Micro places great importance on environmental protection. For example, only non-toxic foams are used, and ocean plastic is used in the Eco product line.
In our range, you will find a wide variety of Micro scooters for adults and teenagers:
Micro City scooters are equipped with different features depending on the model, but they all share the folding mechanism. Depending on the model and its intended use, they also feature adjustable handlebars, foldable handles, reinforced brakes to prevent overheating, kickstands, handbrakes, splash guards, integrated lights, longer decks, large wheels, and wider wheels for steep descents. Additionally, all Micro scooters are designed with extra low comfortable decks.
Over time, the City Scooter models have been continuously expanded to meet the different needs of riders. The popular models are:
The Micro Sprite was the very first Micro scooter and stands out as the lightest in its class at under 3 kg. It can be easily taken anywhere and is extremely compact when folded. It can be ridden by adults, teenagers, and children, making it the ideal model for short distances on asphalt. The only disadvantage for longer distances and rough terrain is the smaller wheels.
The Micro Classic 200mm has been the bestseller of the Micro line for many years. The large 20 cm wheels make every ride a pleasant experience. The extra low deck is particularly comfortable for your knees when kicking off. This scooter is mainly used for the daily commute to the office or university, especially when longer distances need to be covered. Thanks to the adjustable handlebar, it can be ridden by older children, teenagers, and adults. At 4 kg, it is still very light and can be easily carried with a shoulder strap.
The Micro Flex and Micro Suspension are upgrades to the Micro Classic. Thanks to their suspension, they are even more comfortable to ride, especially on rougher surfaces like cobblestones or fine gravel. If you are looking for the most comfortable model in the Micro line, the Micro Flex or Micro Suspension is perfect for you. The Micro Flex dampens particularly well thanks to a flexible fiberglass deck, making it even maintenance-free. The Micro Suspension features two built-in mechanical suspensions, damping both the front and rear wheels. However, note that mechanical suspensions require maintenance from time to time.
If neither the Micro Classic 200 nor the Micro Sprite appeals to you, the Micro Speed Plus might be just right for you, as it offers a compromise between these two scooters. With its 150mm wheels, it has excellent riding characteristics, and thanks to its damping around the ball bearing, it is particularly smooth-running at high speeds. At 3.7 kg, it is only slightly heavier than the Micro Sprite and thus an absolute lightweight.
The flagship of the current Micro line is the Micro Metropolitan. It features an additional handbrake and an integrated light in the handlebar, ensuring maximum safety. Of course, it is also foldable and thus easy to store. The slightly wider handlebar makes riding even more comfortable. Like the Micro Classic, it also has comfortable 200mm tires and an extra low deck.
The three-wheeled Micro Kickboards have a patented steering system, allowing you to steer your vehicle by shifting your weight, enhancing your sense of balance. Moreover, it enables easy riding while cruising. You can choose between a T-handlebar and a joystick, essentially between one-handed and two-handed riding. Other features include the adjustable handlebar, which can be individually adjusted, and the non-slip silicone deck. Depending on the model, other features can be distinguished, such as the folding mechanism, wide wheels for more stability, a wide curved handlebar, or a flexible deck that absorbs shocks even better.
The Swiss company Micro was founded in 1997 when Wim Ouboter reinvented the folding scooter to cover "micro-distances." Over the years, the idea was further developed, and the range continuously expanded to currently over 50 products. Today, in addition to the folding scooters, vehicles such as kickboards, the Micro Mini for children, e-scooters, and even a car are manufactured. As the world market leader in urban mobility, Micro also collaborates with other brands, such as Samsonite for the Micro Luggage or for e-scooters with Peugeot, Mercedes, and BMW. Micro products are designed in Switzerland and manufactured in China according to ASTM, EN, ANSI, and TUV standards.
