If you have already made a mark in the Stunt Scooter sport and moved beyond the first beginner tricks and now want to go all in, then Stunt Scooters for Advanced Riders are the right choice. These scooters can certainly be used for everyday routes like going to school, but they truly showcase their abilities in the skatepark or street area.
For advanced scooters, we distinguish between the following features:
The size of your scooter depends on your preferred riding style. In the street area, the handlebar can be a bit higher, between waistband and belly button. While in the park area, the ideal height is at the waistband, though some riders prefer it lower to save on weight.
An advanced stunt scooter is characterized by high-quality and lightweight components such as aluminum forks or aluminum bars. The wheels are even more durable and usually slightly larger (120mm), as they need to be even more stable and faster. The best advanced park scooters weigh around 3-3.5 kg, while in the street area, around 4 kg is typical.
These scooters are designed for experienced riders who want to perform even more intense tricks such as tailwhips and barspins. Advanced riders increase the execution of tricks through more speed, height, and number of spins. More speed and height give you additional air time – and thus more time to execute the trick. However, as increased and higher jumps put more stress on the material, stunt scooters for advanced riders are built to be even more durable. For park, you use lighter compression systems such as HIC and IHC, while for street you prefer more durable but slightly heavier systems. The most robust is the SCS.
You can rely on the fact that in our range you will find only stunt scooters that meet these high quality standards.
Now that you have developed preferences for your tricks, you will know more precisely whether you want a park or street scooter. For park, you ride in the classic ramps and perform tricks such as barspins and tailwhips in multiple executions. Therefore, your park scooter should be as light and compact as possible. For street, you navigate typical obstacles such as rails, curbs, and stairs. For this, you generally need wider decks and a higher handlebar that is comfortable for you. In our range, you will find scooters for street, park, and all-rounders that you can ride in both areas. Please note that a street or park scooter is always a primary setup and does not completely exclude the other area. If you need assistance in choosing your stunt scooter, feel free to contact us.
Since we only carry brand products, you can also replace any broken parts. Check out our parts category.
If you have been in the stunt scooter sport for some time and are considering the next step in terms of equipment, a pro stunt scooter offers an extremely high-quality setup at an unbeatable set price. A self-assembled stunt scooter, a so-called "Custom Complete", can be even more tailored to your needs. However, note that the price is significantly higher. For riders who also participate in competitions, a custom scooter would be more suitable.
How can I best maintain my stunt scooter?
To keep your stunt scooter in the best possible condition, you should regularly check the screws. It is important to tighten the axles of the wheels and the compression screw, as well as to lubricate the bearings in the headset and in the wheels. It is best to start each session with a check of all screws (drop test) to see if everything is tight. Check the fork, deck, and bars for cracks. The bars usually break above the clamp, so look for fine hairline cracks. If you see cracks, we recommend not using the parts anymore. There is hardly anything worse than a material break when landing after a high jump.
Are there any special safety tips for stunt scooter riders?
As jumps get higher and thus riskier, it is recommended to wear a helmet and knee pads. You might also want to consider wearing ankle guards or a mouth guard, as many injuries occur in these areas.
Can I use a park scooter in the street area as well?
In principle, you can ride any advanced stunt scooter in both areas. Many riders prefer not to specialize and enjoy riding both. The distinction depends on your preference and thus on a primary setup, which does not completely exclude the other area. With a light, smaller park scooter, typical park tricks are easier to perform. Conversely, a more durable street scooter will last longer, whether you ride it in the park or street area. However, note that more durable also usually means heavier, and any additional weight is most noticeable in the park area.
